Marinas With Bicycles For Boaters

If you’re boating in the beautiful North Channel of Lake Huron but don’t have a bicycle, these marinas offer complimentary bicycles to boaters or may rent to visitors.

Richards Landing Marina, St. Joseph Island
Complimentary bicycles for boaters. Rentals are available to non-boaters.

Blind River Marina, Blind River
Complimentary bicycles for boaters.

Thessalon Marina, Thessalon
Complimentary bicycles for boaters.

Roberta Bondar Marina, Sault Ste. Marie
Bike rentals are available daily from July - August for anyone.

Bike Trails And Routes

We’ve done our best to list as many bike trails and bike-friendly trails and routes in our region as possible.

Crystal Creek Mountain Bike Trail, Hiawatha Highlands
Summer mountain biking and winter fat biking trails. For winter fat biking, you need to purchase a trail pass. Winter trail conditions can be found on the Hiawatha Highlands website.

The Lookout Trail, Pancake Bay Provincial Park
The park allows bikes on the 14-km trail. Best suited for mountain biking.

The Esker Trail, Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park
Bikes are permitted on this 8-km trail.

The Deer Trail
Road cycling through wilderness and communities.

Lake Huron North Channel Waterfront Trail
Our region’s newest signed cycling route leads you from Sudbury to Lake Superior! Read our blog here.

Hub Trail 
A 22.5-km non-motorized trail located in Sault Ste. Marie, connecting the downtown, waterfront, and even Fort Creek Conservation area.

Elliot Lake Area
Purchase the latest trails guide at the Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre for biking opportunities.

St. Joseph Island
The Island is a great place for road cycling offering different types of terrain, stunning views and great places to cycle too!

Algoma Highlands Mountain Bike Trail System
You can download the bike trail map PDFs on the website.

Boom Camp Trails
12 km of multi-season trails located at the mouth of the Mississagi River. You’ll find information about all the loops on www.blindriver.ca

Attikamek Trail
A 2.2-km trail is located on the city’s waterfront. Bikers share the trail with hikers.

Hwy 638
A paved country road that is popular with cyclists.

Bruce Mines Self-Guided Tours
There are some self-guided tours laid out for visitors by the Bruce Mines Chamber of Commerce: Bicycle Tour and Self-Guided Tours

Hubtrail Festival 
This annual festival invites you to walk, run or roll along with the 24-km multi-use non-motorized John Roswell HUB Trail system. It’s a free event for everyone and is held every Canada Day (July 1).
