Events are a great way to connect with the motorcycle community at large, make new friends or just to keep up with old ones. Charity events are often conceived to help those in need. Whether it be for an issue as widespread as prostate cancer or as specific as a wheelchair ramp in your town, getting together with other riders is a great way to make positive changes in your community. It also happens to be a lot of fun!

1-4, 21st Annual Freedom Rally, Sudbury, ON
Three fun-filled nights of tent and trailer camping at the Mine/Mill Campground. Includes weiner roasts, bonfires, continental breakfasts, guided tours, motorcycle games, awards and prizes. 4, BMA Motorcycle Mondays, Brampton, ON
All bikes are welcome to a weekly organized "Show n' Shine, Meet n' Greet" at the Rose Theatre, Garden Square at Main and Queen St. A free event on every Monday night from 6 to 9pm. Monthly motorcycle community gathering on the first Wednesday of each month from 8pm to 10pm from May through September. The event is held in a new location each month. 
 
9, Grey Bruce TELUS Motorcycle Ride for Dad, Owen Sound, ON

A celebration of the motorcycle industry, motorcycle enthusiasts, Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs/Emergency Services and their support of the Special Olympics Ontario. Assemble at the Scarborough Town Centre for coffee and a snack at 8am. The torch ride begins at 9am on a route established by the Toronto Motor Squad. Take the scenic route to Peterborough and stop for lunch at Riley Olde Towne Pub.
Registration: $30 per person or fee will be waived if you raise a minimum of $200.
 
9, Ride for the Cause, North Bay, ON
A 164km round trip ride beginning and ending at Carlson Sports to help raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The ride will head out to Verner then proceed to Field and continue to Marten River at Trapper Trading Post before heading back to Carlson Sports for a BBQ and silent auction.

10, Ride for SickKids, Oshawa, ON
From the streets of Durham Region to the pristine shores of Port Perry, the Ride for SickKids rally is a scenic tour of Ontario's highways to raise money for the Hospital for Sick Children and The Research Institute. The 6th annual ride is sure to be a great time—just ask anyone who's been! The day includes lunch and live entertainment and our own Mike Jacobs as master of ceremonies. Register early for a chance to win this year's 2014 Harley-Davidson.

Honda Canada presents the return of this one day FREE event featuring Gymkhana skills competition. Skilled riders will put their Honda motorcycles to the test in an obstacle course and striving for the quickest time possible. Take the latest Honda motorcycles and ATVs for a test ride, visit power equipment demos and Vendor Alley or have your children participate in Junior Red Riders. 10, Ride for Reena, Collingwood, ON
Riding from the Promenade Mall in Thornhill to Cranberry Resort in Collingwood for a celebratory BBQ. The ride is easy to join—simply register on the website and ask friends and family to sponsor you. All proceeds benefit Reena. 14, Mods n Rockers 2014, Toronto, ON
Toronto's biggest vintage motorcycle & scooter culture-fest-phenomena returns for it's 6th year. Two days of bikes, music, style and bad behaviour in the heart of the city. Check out pics from last year to get an idea of what to expect.

15-18, Law Enforcement Torch Ride, Timmins, ON
A celebration of the motorcycle industry, motorcycle enthusiasts, Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs/Emergency Services and their support of the Special Olympics Ontario. On the 15th, meet at Boston Pizza in Timmins to depart at 1pm sharp destined for Quality Inn and Suites in Sudbury. The next day the ride leaves Sudbury heading to Collingwood via Manitoulin Island, Chi-Cheemaun. Meet at the Boston Pizza there at 6:30 for a Team Building event. Accommodations at Days Inn Collingwood. On the 17th, leave for North Bay Clarion Resort and on the 18th return to Timmins to Boston Pizza by 4pm for an appreciation dinner.

All makes and models of motorcycles and classic cars are welcome to participate in this poker run along Route 64 in the Noelville, Alban and French River. The charity run will be finishing at the Beausejour Inn & Restaurant.
 
16, Riders Against Hunger, Mississauga, ON
The annual motorcycle charity ride in support of Eden Community Food Bank is back. Meet at South Common parking lot in Mississauga for a poker run style ride. Free rider's registration gift bag and t-shirt as well as Timmies breakfast at registration. Also offering a free lunch at Five Guys Burgers & Fries. Prizes for top fundraisers. 
Registration: Open from 8:30 to 9:30am at the South Common Mall parking lot. Registration fee is $50.

16, Ride for Hope and Hunger, Cambridge, ON
Beginning at Ali's Bar and Grill, the ride goes out at 11:30am and includes 3 stops and dinner. With $3000 in prizes available. Raising funds and awareness for Send'em Off Smiling, a back-to-school program for children in need.

The 1st Annual Car & Bike Show at MotoSport Plus will run from 11am to 3pm. There will be prizes for bikes and cars on display as well as car vendors, food trucks, a tattoo station and kids' activities.

TGO Consulting is excited to announce our annual Ride for Kids event coming up just around the corner. Like last year’s event, all funds raised will be donated to the SickKids Foundation.

18, BMA Motorcycle Mondays, Brampton, ON
All bikes are welcome to a weekly organized "Show n' Shine, Meet n' Greet" at the Rose Theatre, Garden Square at Main and Queen St. A free event on every Monday night from 6 to 9pm. Every year riders from all backgrounds rev up their engines in support of cystic fibrosis research and patient care. Check back here later for updates on this year's Windsor area event. Registration includes a rally pin and a rally mug for the first 200, 2 nights of camping, hot showers, 50/50 draws, self-guided Geocache event and great door prizes. Friday night hamburgers or tube steaks, Saturday night steak dinner with all the trimmings, Saturday and Sunday morning coffee and donuts available on site ($) and bottomless coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and water are also included in the registration.

23, The Wicked Ride, Perth County, ON
The 3rd annual women's only motorcycle tour of Perth County. Travel through the area collecting stamps at specified retail locations and receive small gifts from each stop along the way. There will be a special luncheon and the day will end with an Amazing Dinner in Mitchell with live music, prizes and a good time to be had by all. A portion of proceeds will be donated to a women's charity.
Registration: $35 per rider or $48 for the bus tour. Both prices include the dinner.

23, Ride for the Breath of Life, Mississauga, ON
A motorcycle ride for Cystic Fibrosis Canada starting and ending at the Streetsville Association of Kinsmen and Kinettes. Ride leaves at 10am and is approximately 4 hours. Raise $75 and earn a long-sleeved t-shirt/Doo rag and boodle bag. Raise $100 and you and your passenger ride for free. Raise $200 and you also get a t-shirt/doo rag for your passenger as well. 
Registration: $40 per rider, $15 per passenger. Open from 8 to 10am and includes a continental breakfast. Registration can be done online at www.cysticfibrosis.ca.
 
A one-hour police escorted ride through the city of Brampton starting at the Brampton Soccer Centre. Includes door prizes, silent auctions, 50/50 draw, food and awards. For more information call 905-793-0223 or 905-456-2968.

23, Bikefest CK 2014, Chatham, ON
Bikefest CK is a fundraiser for Big Brother Big Sisters of Chatham-Kent. This year it's taking the form of a community festival in Tecumseh Park, in beautiful downtown Chatham. It will showcase custom motorcycles, a swap meet and feature vendors, live music all day, food eating competitions, a beer garden and much more. All summer, Big Brothers Big Sisters will be selling raffle tickets for a 2014 Harley Davidson Low Rider Motorcycle.
Registration: This event is FREE.
Recommended Route: Cruise the Coast 
 
An approximately 180km ride along very scenic roads, landscapes and towns. Open to all bikes, clubs and groups. Proceeds will be used to support "The Sprucedale Youth Group" and "The Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation of Canada." Includes raffle and 50/50 tickets sold all day starting at registration. Pay as you eat BBQ throughout the day (morning: Peameal on a bun, afternoon: hamburgers, sausages, hotdogs). Draws at approximately 4pm. Dinner at approximately 5pm.

A ride organized to raise money to help a friend in need, the money raised will go to medical costs that could save her life. A great chance to have fun and make a huge difference in the community. Ride leaves Cayuga at 11am. There will be a BBQ afterwards with live music, prizes and raffles. Camping will be available.

All riders welcome to attend a fun-filled day for all starting with registration at Heritage Place, 20 Brooks Street and breakfast with the residents of the IOOF seniors homes. Then at 10am it's kickstands up for an approximately 4hr long scenic Poker Run through Muskoka with a break at halfway point North of Gravenhurst. Returning to the IOOF Senior Homes parking lot for a post-ride steak dinner, raffles and amazing prizes including the grand prize, a beautiful Napoleon BBQ

23, Ride For Kids Sake, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
The Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Catharines, Thorold and District host a fundraiser starting from Clare's Harley-Davidson. After the scenic motocycle route there will be food and live music by Stereo Sunrise. The top 4 online fundraisers will ride alongside Tig and Juice from Sons of Anarchy.
Registration: Pick up participant kit near Guest Services at the Pen Centre on Friday August 22nd from 4:00pm to 8:00pm to avoid long lines on event day. First 400 pre-registered and paid riders are guaranteed to meet Tig and Juice. Fee is $30 per rider and $15 per passenger. 
Recommended Route: Niagara Cherry Blossom Ride
 
Arrive with a full tank of gas and ready for a great police escorted ride around beautiful Stoney Lake and the north end of Rice Lake. The ride starts at Classy Chassis & Cycles and includes a half-way rest stop for a cold drink and stretch. 
Registration: $30 per bike or free with pledges of $100 or more. $250 or more gets you a chance to win the Grand Prize, an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast for 2 at the Sherwood Inn on Lake Joseph.
 
24, The WROAR Ride, Concord, ON
The 10th Anniversary Women Ride Out Against Rape ride will depart and return from a new venue this year: Dave & Busters at 120 Interchange Way in Concord. 24, Freedom Ride to End MS, Kitchener, ON
Starting and ending at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener, the 2.5-3.5 hour scenic ride through Grand River country will raise funds to go to the MS Society, Waterloo District Chapter. The day will start with registration and breakfast and end with an inspiring return to Bingemnan's to enjoy a BBQ lunch, prizes and to peruse a Classic Car Show. This year riders will have the chance to win a grand prize—air fare and hotel for two adults to enjoy a weeklong trip to Daytona Florida for their famous Bike Week celebrations.
Registration: Opens at 8am with the ride departing at 9:15am. Raise a minimum of $50 in pledges to participate in the ride.

A ride through the Caledon Hills starting and ending at the Terra Cotta Inn. The afternoon will include a Show and Shine with prizes in different categories, live music by Larry Melton, raffles for major prizes and much more.

Each year, riders from all backgrounds come together at various locations across Ontario to support cystic fibrosis research and patient care. The Hamilton area ride will take place rain or shine starting at the Royal Canadian Legion in Beamsville. Cash prizes for top three poker hands: $500, $250 and $100. There will be a delicious Roast Beef on a bun with salad at the end of the ride for $5.

A busy weekend with swap meet, bike show and road run held in Lower Beverley Lake Park. Also includes games, BBQ and a rockin' dance band on Saturday. Breakfast on Sunday before the 10am concourse. 7, Guide Dog Dice Run, Manotick, ON
Starting at the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind Training Centre, the 26th annual all-brand motorcycle ride will tour 200km through Eastern Ontario to raise funds towards the training of guide and assistance dogs. Depart on your own or as part of guided rides leaving at 9:30 and 10am. After the ride, stay for a BBQ, prizes and walk through the kennel to meet some of the dogs.
Registration: Cost is $20 per person to be paid on site between 9:00 to 10:30am. Registration includes one score card and one BBQ ticket. For more information call 613-692-7777.

Cruise Canada's most southern motorcycle route along the waterfront of Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River and Lake Erie. This 150km ride will depart from Knights of Columbus, 1303 County Rd 22 at 10:30am and take you through picturesque Essex County to end with a pasta luncheon. A poker run will be taking place during this ride. There will be an escort to the first stop and then riders are on their own to finish the run. Prizes for top 3 hands including 2 VIA Rail passes to anywhere in the Windsor-Quebec City Corridor. 
Registration: Opens at 8:00am. $30 for riders, $20 for passengers or raise $150 in donations.

12-14, Spyders Ride Around Algonquin Park, Muskoka, Pembroke, North Bay,ON
Hosted by Pete's Sales and Service in Pembroke, Northland Recreation in Muskoka and Giesler Marine in North Bay. Friday night registration and starting point will be out of Muskoka. Saturday morning, head towards Pembroke through beautiful Algonquin Park. Lunch stop at the famous Wilno Tavern then depart for Pembroke where there will be dinner and an overnight stay. The next day ride through the Ottawa Valley for lunch in North Bay and then head back to Muskoka. 
Registration: $50 per Ryder and $30 per passenger. Includes lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. '
 
The annual charity motorcycle ride will start and finish at the Burlington Humane Society, 740 Griffith Court. Featuring a 2-hour scenic observation tour through north Burlington and surrounding areas. After the ride there will be live music by Corduroy Road, a BBQ, refreshments, silent auction and Open House tours of the shelter. Non-riders are welcome to join for the music, food and Open House after the ride. 
Registration: Open from 9am to 11am. The ride will go from 10am to 2pm.

19, 20, Biketoberfest 2014, Fenwick, ON
Another one of these small charity events that keep growing and growing. Taking place in the beautiful hamlet of Fenwick, in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula, weekend includes the Ride of the Flags, Show n Shine, Vendors and more. Click here for accommodations. 
 
Ride will begin and end a the Queen's Bush Pub. More details to follow.
Registration: Opens at 9:30 at the pub.  
Recommended Route: Grey-Bruce Waterfall Tour
 
An approximately 220km fundraiser ride including a jaunt along the Nipissing Circle Tour with a stop in Port Loring for lunch and then back to North Bay at the Memorial Drive Lee Park for festivities and a BBQ. The Golden Helmets will perform a show at the park at 5pm. Come out for some great entertainment and a chance to take home the jackpot. Top fundraiser gets 2 Toronto Blue Jays Tickets and 1 night hotel accommodations.  
 
Collect donations from your friends, family and co-workers, anyone who would like to see you ride through your community. Top fundraiser gets 2 VIA Rail passes to anywhere in the Windsor-Quebec City Corridor. Ride departs at 2pm from the Courthouse, 425 Grand Ave West for a nice 120km drive along the shores of Lake Erie.
Registration: Opens at 1pm. Fee is $35 (with Steak Dinner) or $25 (no steak) or raise a minimum of $100 and the fee is waived! 
 
A ride beginning at the Columbus Centre including a stop for dinner and door prizes, auctions, 50/50 draw and a certificate draw bag. All funds will be donated to the MS Society of Canada. Call 519-798-3858 for more information.

24, Ganaraska 250, Port Hope, ON
A vintage motorcycle reliabilty run celebrating and encouraging the use of vintage and classic bikes. The event has been created in the spirit of the long standing European "MotoGiro" tradition with timed road runs and scored agility tests. The 2014 route will wind through the Northumberland Hills and Lower Kawartha Lakes districts, following roads that offer a variety of conditions and terrain. All motorcycles and scooters built on or before 1975 with an engine capacity of 750cc or less can enter. See website for different classes. 27, Wings Over the County, Trenton, ON
The TSN television show Motorcycle Experience is celebrating it's 25 year in Canada. Fans of the show are invited to come out to Prince Edward County to mark this incredible milestone. From 9am to 4pm the Hillier Creek Estates winery will play host offering tours of the vineyard and serving their famous wood fired pizzas. Honda Canada will be on hand providing the party favours and demo rides. Then it's kickstands up for the County Back Roads Ride.
 
28, B.E.A.T. Cancer Ride, Bradford, ON
Beginning at 10am at CW Coop's, 118 Holland St. East. for a non-competitive, pledge based, fundraiser ride benefitting the Canadian Cancer Society. Rain date is October 5th. For more information call 905-830-0447 ext.3833.

30, MotoSport Plus Harley-Davidson Demo Day & Open House, Kingston, ON
Come out and test ride the new 2015 Harley-Davidson fleet at MotoSport Plus in Kingston. The demo truck will be bringing the new Harley-Davidson Street 750. All Reward Members will receive double the points, earning 20% back on all qualifying purchases. There will be food options on site.

July 2014 Motorcycle Events 

In partnership with Brian's Service Centre in Hensall, the Canada Day Committee for South Huron invites all motorcycle enthusiasts to a Show and Shine at the Centennial Soccer Field at the South Huron Recreation sports complex. From 9am to 4pm park your bike and check out other bikes and cars at this great community event. Hospitality like only small town Ontario can offer. 
Recommended Route: Ride Huron and Perth Counties
 
The 4th annual Canada Day Motorcycle and Classic Car Ride will start at the Barrie Masonic Lodge, 99 Morrow Rd. A scenic ride through Simcoe County with stops in Tottenham and Stayner Masonic Lodges. Proceeds will go to Hospice Simcoe County Barrie.
Registration: Open from 8:30-9:30am with the Ride beginning at 9:45am. $35 per bike, $15 per passenger. Includes coffee, doughnuts and lunch.

Monthly motorcycle community gathering on the first Wednesday of each month from 8pm to 10pm from May through September. The event is held in a new location each month. 
 
A fundraiser poker run leaving between 10 to 11am from Motorsport H-D and ending at the Stubborn Mule. All proceeds to fund research at the 17 Children Hospitals through Childhood Cancer Canada. Prize packages for top ten fundraisers and prizes for best hand. Free midpoint bbq at Duke's Harley-Davidson. Rider shirts for first 100 signed in on ride day. 5, Chrome on the Canal, Campbellford, ON
For about 15 years now vintage and hotrod car and motorcycle owners have gathered on along the canal to display their objects of affection. This year the tradition continues at Cty. Road 30 South along the Trent Severn Waterway from 9am to 4pm. There will be vendors and food booths on site along with all makes and models of vintage motorcycles and cars. About 5-1 cars to motorcycles. With plenty of options for where to stay and what to eat and so much more to do in the area it makes for a great family trip.

5, Rally Fur Paws, Stittsville, ON
Starting and finishing at the Stittsville Legion Branch 618, at 1481 Main Street. A bike and car rally to fundraise for service dogs for PTSD. There will be a scavenger (observation) hunt for the youngsters. Includes quality live entertainment from 3-6pm in the main hall, BBQ at the finish point and prizes and etc. afterwards.

5, Third Annual SD & G Hwy 43 Memorial Ride, Perth, ON
A ride to honour veterans and raise funds for Operation: Leave the Streets Behind Homeless Veterans Assistance Fund. Following breakfast and registration, the ride will depart at 9:30am for a 242km poker run through the area. Follow highway 43 to the Chesterville Legion for snacks and refreshments, then off to the Alexandria Legion, followed by the Flying J in Lancaster to fuel up. Then it's off to County Road 2 to enjoy the lovely view of the St. Lawrence River. The ride ends at 2:30pm at the Morrisburg Legion with a BBQ, music and door prizes. There will also be awards and a 50/50 draw.

11-13, Ride for Sight Northern Ontario, Sault Ste Marie, ON
The 2nd annual Northern Ontario Ride for Sight will be returning to Searchmont Resort. Another great weekend including Bike Games, Show 'n' Shine, Vendors and Live Entertainment. Check the website later in the season for updates.

A 200km ride of the best roads around the Niagara Escarpment starting at the Mohawk Inn. Meet Dakar competitors Simon Pavey and Patrick Beaulé and see inspirational presentations by Warren Milner and Rene Cormier. Browse the Expo display area and meet industry representatives and see vintage motocross motorcycles. Also includes kid's programs. The "whole enchilada" pass includes camping at the Toronto West KOA and meals at the Chop House.

Canada's first true week-long bike event will take place at Little Lake Park in picturesque Midland. This will be a fun and memorable gathering catered to the purity and enjoyment of motorcycle ownership. All are welcome! Including Two - Four Daily Motorcycle rides of the Muskoka countryside, demo rides, evening entertainment, games & vendors as well as family activites. There will be 127 acres of camping area with food and beverage stands.

12, Georgian Bay Thunder 2014, Midland, ON
The 6th Annual Georgian Bay Thunder Motorcycle Ride is a fundraiser for Community Reach. Bikes will return by 2pm. Awards at 2:30pm at Little Lake Park Stage. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best poker hands and worst hand. 
Registration: Open from 9:30 to 11am. The fee for the ride is $30 for Rider Poker Hand, $10 per Passenger Poker Hand. Free park pass for Bike Week 2014.  A $25 charitable receipt is available. Riders are also welcome to collect pledges, collect $100 or more and the ride is free.

Riders will be accompanied by Police Motorcycle Units from the Ottawa and Valley area through some of Ottawa's most beautiful and winding roadways before heading out through the scenic Ottawa Valley for a tour that's certain to take your breath away. Riders from the Ottawa leg will roll into Smith Falls where the fun will really take off as a group luncheon with the riders from the Kingston, Belleville and Cornwall rides will all meet in one location for a massive show of support for Special Olympics with prizes to follow.

12, Law Enforcement Torch Ride, Kingston, ON
Starting with registration from 8am at the Invista Center, 1350 Gardiners Road (Just off Hwy 38 and Hwy 401. At 10am the escorted ride will begin heading through Kingston and continuing through the Thousand Islands before heading North to Smith Falls for a BBQ.

Once you have all the cards, head back to Arthur Street to hand them in between 5:00 and 7:00pm. Once everyone's hands have been counted a winner will be named. Dinner is served at 5pm and the party after at Galaxy Lanes goes on all night long.

19, Ride to Remember, Aurora, ON
The 8th annual Ride to Remember will start at the Royal Canadian Legion in Aurora and end with a BBQ at the Tony Stacey Centre in Scarborough. Kickstands up at 10am with last bike out by 10:30am. Last bike in by 2pm. All proceeds go directly to the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 Fundraisers.

The 1st annual Thunder Bay Torch Ride hosted by the Hard Chargers LEMC NW Ontario. Ride begins at noon at the Harley-Davidson Thunder Bay. 19, Muskoka Motorcycle Rally, Gravenhurst, ONAfter the success of last year's inaugural event the Muskoka Motorcycle Rally is back. Quickly becoming a contender as one of the best motorcycle events in the province, this year there will again be free parking for all motorcycles, demo rides, vendors and food. Arrive on Saturday to attend the Mayor's Ride at 10am. Also includes Police Skills Demonstrations, a Sunset Cruise on Saturday night and the Sawdust Saloon located in the event park. 
Registration: Mayor's Ride registration starts at 8:30am. $40 per rider, $10 per passenger. Pre-registion fees are $50/$10 and you get a souvenir t-shirt. Pre-registration is the only way to get the t-shirt. None will be available to riders/passengers registering on site.

20, Grand Bend's Vintage Bike Days, Grand Bend, ON
This year's annual Show & Shine event will be held from 10am until around 1pm right on Grand Bend's Main Street. Again this year, there is no registration fee, no official judging, no vendors and it's not a swap meet but there will be a group ride from Main Street to the Grand Bend Motorplex Raceway to enjoy the Vintage Road Racing Association Summer Classic event. Vintage related club and group displays are encouraged. Just show up and proudly show off your scooters and motorcycles. All makes and models of vintage and classic bikes are welcome.

26, Law Enforcement Torch Ride, Niagara Falls, ON
A celebration of the motorcycle industry, motorcycle enthusiasts, Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs/Emergency Services and their support of the Special Olympics Ontario. The Niagara ride will begin with registration at 8am with Shirts available for purchase. Parade starts at 10am to arrive at it's destination (TBA) by 2pm.

4, Law Enforcement Torch Ride, Newmarket, ON
A celebration of the motorcycle industry, motorcycle enthusiasts, Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs/Emergency Services and their support of Special Olympics Ontario. After lunch and registration, the ride departs from the York Regional Police Association "Shed" at 800 Stonehaven Ave by noon sharp for a 170km ride through the scenic countryside to Lagoon City on Lake Simcoe. Then it's back to the Shed for 5pm for BBQ, ceremonies and a great evening of live music.

7, Blue Line Ride, Collingwood to Sauble Beach, ON
Starting with a 9am Pancake Breakfast at the Collingwood OPP at 201 Ontario Street. At 10am the ride will begin, heading west through Owen Sound to arrive at Sauble Falls. There will a break there then the ride will head south down the coast of Lake Huron to Southampton where it will then turn east and wind it's way back to Collingwood for a BBQ. All proceeds raised will go to the Special Olympics. This event will happen rain or shine.

6-8, Central Ontario Ride for Sight, Lindsay, ON
Bringing the weekend celebration to the Lindsay Exhibition for more Demo Rides, Bike Games, Show 'n' Shine, Vendor Marketplace and Live Entertainment. Win a 2014 Triumph America by fundraising. Raising $100 to earn a ballot, $250 gets you three ballots. The draw will take place on stage on June 7th right before the headliner hits the stage.

13, Friday the 13th, Port Dover, ON
From it's humble beginnings as a weekend get-together among 25 friends in 1981, the Friday the 13th event has grown to be one of the biggest must-attend events for motorcycle enthusiasts in Ontario. The 2014 edition of this tradition falls in June so expect tens of thousands of bikers and visitors to this little town. 13-15, CVMG Paris National Rally, Paris, ON
The 42nd Paris National Rally will take place at the Paris Fairgrounds from noon on the 13th to 1pm on the 15th. The theme will be Canadian-made Indian Motorcycles. The Weekend includes seminars, road run, concours, trials and other displays, Marque display, swap meet/vendors and door prizes. 
Registration: Pre-Registration closes May 31st. Rally Registration Desk opens at noon on Friday. $30 for CVMG members and $45 for non-members. Day passes are $8 per person.
 
The annual ride starts at Levi Home Hardware at 10am. It will go for approximately 200km through the local rural areas. Prizes, including a round of golf with electric carts and on-course instruction for 3, will be awarded at the end of the ride. Proceeds go to the Country Cat Sanctuary. 14, Ride for Dad, North Bay, ON
This North Bay/Nipissing chapter of Ride for Dad is back for another year of fundraising, camaraderie and of course, riding the scenic roads of the north. The days events run from 10am to 5pm and include a parade, poker run and meal. The 10th Annual event will take place at the Valley Park Community Centre at 970 Paramount Drive. It will be a fun-filled day of riding with a lunch, poker run and much more all with the aim to raise $35,000 to fight prostate cancer in the local community. This year the Celebrity Ride Captain is one of the most respected and loved "dads", Mr. Walter Gretzky.

14, Motorcycle Ride for Dad, Thunder Bay, ON
All are welcome to take part in a full day of exciting activities for riders, passenger and spectators. The day starts off with registration and a hot buffet breakfast for participants at 7:30am. At 9:30am the thunderous Ride for the Cure begins with over 325 riders simultaneously kick staring their engines and heading out on a parade down Arthur Street. Then it's time for a Poker Run in and around the city of Thunder Bay. There will be raffles and games at the Victoria Inn with incredible prizes for both participants and the general public to win.

20-22, The Georgian Bay Run, Manitoulin Island, Sauble Beach, ON
Three days of riding, camping and general moto mayhem. A 1000km run starting at 11am at Tim Hortons on Major Mackenzie Drive in Vaughan. Ride north through Parry Sound to camp at Loon's Landing on the French River. The next day it's on to Sudbury and then south onto Manitoulin Island for a night's stay at Hutchison's Cabins. From there, grab the Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Tobermory and on to Sauble Beach to finish on Sunday at Lobby's Beach FrontClick here to order T-shirt.

From 9am to 5pm at MotoSport Plus, riders can take a new 2014 Honda motorcycle for a free test ride. There will also be a BBQ lunch. No tax on select Honda showroom apparel and accessories AND an additional 10% off on clearance section. 
Registration: Opens at 8:30am. All riders must have valid motorcycle license and proper riding gear.
 
The 1st in what will be an annual event with proceeds going to Camp Trillium. The ride starts at Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School, 100 Panabaker Drive in Ancaster. The ride will go approximately 200km around South Western Ontario on the north side of Lake Erie. One of the stops will be at Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake for a BBQ lunch. While the ride is taking place, the car show will set up and the motorcycles can join in at the end of the ride to shine and show off their bikes. There will be great food trucks, music and people all raising money for a great cause.

Now with a Saturday poker run starting at 11am with proceeds to Kawartha Kids. An entire day of fun for the whole family on Sunday with the roads closed for lots of vendors and lots of bikes. The annual Bobcaygeon Bikefest is growing by leaps and bounds. And with so many great roads to ride in the local region, this is one event you don't want to miss.

23, BMA Motorcycle Mondays, Brampton, ON
All bikes are welcome to a weekly organized "Show n' Shine, Meet n' Greet" at the Rose Theatre, Garden Square at Main and Queen St. A free event on every Monday night from 6 to 9pm. There will be special events and weekly themes. In support of The Brampton Civic Hospital—Paediatrics and the Salvation Army. 
 
27-29, New Liskeard Bikers Reunion, New Liskeard, ON
Look forward to another great weekend at the Fair Grounds in New Liskeard. This is a huge family oriented celebration of the sport of riding motorcycles while also being an important fudnraiser for the Temiskaming Hospital Community Cancer Care Unit. Presented by the Oriental Sports Club of Cambridge, the 5th annual scenic ride along the Grand River to Port Dover departs from 1054 Shellard Road at 9:30am. Free breakfast and BBQ lunch included.

28, Heritage Poker Run, Essex, ON
The Windsor Harley Davidson Owners Group and Thunder Road Harley-Davidson welcomes all motorcycles to come and enjoy a 150km poker run and day of fun including bike games and music, BBQ and cash bar. Grand Prize is $100. 
Registration: Open from 10am to 11am at the Canadian Transportation Museum . Price for poker run is $20. No cost for admission. 
 
At The Lakeview Pavilion on South Papineau Lake Road, Maple Leaf, Ontario the Smoke on the Water Motorcycle Show runs from 11am to 5pm rain or shine. This is the second year for this grass roots event with classic and custom show categories as well a People's Choice award with prizes to be won, a 50/50 draw and more! $5 admission at gate – free for the ladies. Live outdoor music (weather permitting), bbq & refreshments and swimming and comfortable accommodations available.

Monthly motorcycle community gathering on the first Wednesday of each month from 8pm to 10pm from May through September. The event is held in a new location each month. The May installment will meet at Chippy's Fish and Chips on Queen Street West, at the south end of Trinity Bellwoods Park in downtown Toronto. 
 
10, Ride for Disabled Vets, Stittsville, ON
Registration: Open from 8:30 to 9:45am. $30 per rider, $10 per passenger.

MotoSport Plus will be hosting the Harley-Davidson Test Our Metal Truck. They will be bringing the line-up of 2014 Harley's to Kingston for free demo rides. There will be a BBQ and specials. 
Registration: Opens at 9am with rides beginning at 10am. Bikes are registered on a first-come first-serve basis.
  
23, Perth County Forbidden Ride, Perth County, ON
On the second-last weekend of May the highways and streets of Perth County will be filled with the sound of roaring motorcycles cruising their way around Perth County as they take a Forbidden Ride. Includes a Caravan ride through downtown Stratford to Mitchell for a Show 'n Shine, plenty of food, prizes and live music. With discounts on Stratford Festival performances and accommodation offers.
Registration: $35 per rider, $30 per passenger +HST. Register online here by May 1st to be entered to win a prize package worth approximately $400. First 350 registrations are guaranteed the meal on Saturday after the ride. Registration is only necessary for the Saturday Ride and dinner and can be done in person that day or at the Friday night Show 'n Shine. All other events for the weekend are free.

The Eastern Ontario Adventure Rally has returned for another year. As before, the rally is open to all types of motorcycles because the rally has 4 different types of routes. Elmhirst Resort is our home base for the weekend, with excellent accommodations, facilities, food, and activities. 24, Durham Diva's Sylvia's Ride, Oshawa, ON
This great annual charity event is back at the Bull Dog Pub for another great poker run. Raising money for the Grandview Children's Foundation. Open to all riders, makes and models. The day will include live entertainment, silent auction, raffles, 50/50 and Show & Shine.
Registration: $25 for riders, $10 for passengers. Pre-registration at Durham Divas Bike Nights on May 14th and 21st at Pete's Big Bite. Registration on the day starts at 9am. All bikes out by 10am. 
 
24, Ganaraska 250, Port Hope, ON
A vintage motorcycle reliabilty run celebrating and encouraging the use of vintage and classic bikes. The event has been created in the spirit of the long standing European "MotoGiro" tradition with timed road runs and scored agility tests. The 2014 route will wind through the Northumberland Hills and Lower Kawartha Lakes districts, following roads that offer a variety of conditions and terrain. All motorcycles and scooters built on or before 1975 with an engine capacity of 750cc or less can enter. See website for different classes. Camping will be available on site at the Port Hope Fairgrounds.

A ride through some of Grey and Bruce Counties finest touring roads in support of Our Kid's Grey Bruce and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hanover. Begins and ends at the Queen's Bush Pub. Includes prizes, silent auction, entertainment and dinner after the ride. Live entertainment from the McKenzie Blues Band.

25, 2804 Dice Run, Casselman, ON
Proceeds go to the Air Cadets, a unique but worthy cause, with a dice run, bike show, vendors and swap meet. With over $2000 in prizes, this could be fun, and with the riding in the local region being above average in the twisties and scenic department, getting there will be half the fun.
Recommended Route: Ontario's Highlands Loops
 
This edition of the annual event starts at 8am at Dave & Busters on Interchange Way with registration. The ride will depart from there at 9:45am. As with every year, there will be a new route weaving together some favourites with brand new roads that will make you want to come back and re-experience these local gems again and again. Signed and unescorted, you'll be riding some of the most picturesque backroads in York and Durham. There wil be a mid-way break at the Lake Simcoe Arms Pub in Jackson's Point before winding into the Markham Fairgrounds around 1:30pm for an afternoon of partying. One lucky rider will win the grand prize, a 2014 Harley-Davidson FXDF-Dyna Fat Bob.
Registration: Open from 8am at Dave & Busters. Riders and passengers must each raise a minimum of $75 each to participate, and will receive an additional draw ticket for every $50 raised. For more information, contact the Distress Centre at 416-598-0168.
 
25, Motorcycle Memorial Ride, Orillia, ON
For 23 years running the last Sunday of May has seen gatherings of riders join together to remember those riders who have gone. The season starts at Shannonville MSP this weekend. Racing on the Pro Track with practice, endurance race and race school on Friday, heats and finals Saturday and Sunday. Special features are the Vintage 2 stroke GP and new 2 stroke Grand Prix for 1989 and newer bikes, these classes will bring out rare bikes and top riders. Full grids and competitive racing in all classes with 12 races per day make for an exciting weekend. Plus a vintage concours and swap meet by local CVMG members. 
Registration: Gates open at 9am daily. Cost is $25pp, weekend includes parking, camping and free programs, or $10pp per day, children 12 and under are free. Listen to Rock 107 for free tickets.

31, 7th Annual Friend of Youth Motorcycle Ride, Burford, ONThe Burford Optimists present an escorted scenic ride of Brant County with all proceeds supporting youth-based programs in the community. Begins at 10:30am the municipal parking lot in downtown Burford, 1 Park Ave and returns at Noon to the Burford Community Centre and Optimist Park. April 2014 Ontario Motorcycle Events

 
This long running show is back. Meet at the Better Living Centre at Exhibition Place to celebrate the start of the new season. Includes a retail marketplace and swap meet, Canadian National Bike Builders Showcase as well as a giant used bike lot & motorcycle auction. 
Tickets are $15 for adults and free for children 12 and under.

    DURHAM DIVAS 8th ANNUAL SYLVIA'S RIDE

    This is a Charity Poker Run with all proceeds to support the Grandview Children's Foundation of Oshawa.

    The ride starts at The Bull Dog Pub, 600 Grandview Drive South, Oshawa.
    Registration from 8:45am to 9:45am with last bike out at 10:00am sharp.

    The route is approximately 145 km long and promises beautiful scenery mixed with lots of twists and turns.

    The cost is $25 for riders and $15 for passengers and is open to all riders.
    Pre-registration will be during our Bike Nights, May 14th and 21st at Pete's Big Bite, 817 Dundas Street W, Whitby.

    The "Ride for Dad" for Grey Bruce will be held Saturday August 9, 2014. This is a charity ride in a poker run format with proceeds going to Awareness and Research of Prostate cancer. Check out the "Ride for Dad" website for details of this ride and others in Canada.
