Sundridge Maple Sugar House Provides History and Sweet Treats All In One

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Almaguin Highlands, Sundridge Maple Sugar House is one of a number of award-winning Maple Syrup producers in the region. Not only do they provide delicious Maple Syrup, Maple Butter and a variety of homemade sugars, fudge and candy, but there is also a historical component to the experience when you visit the authentic pioneer homestead and sugar shack where Maple Syrup was made 100 years ago.

Family Fun at Mattawa Voyageur Days

Every year for the past three years, my husband Greg and I have attended Mattawa's Voyageur Days with family and friends. We buy our tickets as early as January because they are often sold out by April. We also book sites to stay at nearby Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park for the entire four days.
 
AWESOME HOSTS at The West Arm Lodge

My wife and I, along with another couple went to West Arm for a birthday/fishing getaway. The hospitality at the West Arm was FANTASTIC. Cathy, Frank and Willie all went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. whatever it was we needed, they provided. The cabins are a great place to stay, relax, rewind, and escape reality for a spell. A great time was had by all. The Roschti is a MUST TRY!

Temagami Honeymoon

My husband Richard and I spent the first week of our honeymoon in beautiful Temagami. It was a week we will never forget. We loved every minute of our stay in the cozy cabin at Temagami Shores.

The view from the balcony of our cabin overlooked Lake Temagami. On our wedding night you could see the lake glittering through the trees under an enchanting full moon.
