A Comic-Con of BIG Northern Ontario Proportions
On May 7th and 8th, Annual Northern Ontario Expo, which in layman's terms is Northern Ontario's only comic-con and cosplay convention—is happening in Timmins, Ontario!
Browse the work of renowned comic artists like this year's celebrity artist, Brian C. Roll.
What is a comic-con without celebrity guests and photo-ops? This years guests are Star Trek's Marina Sirtis and TV's Walter E. Jones.
There will also be a whole host of well-known cosplay guests to stop and take a photo with. You can see the full roster here.
Come in your best pop culture garb, because there will be costume/cosplay contest happening throughout the weekend. Costumes are judged on creativity and ingenuity. Full contest details here.
Special accommodations rates are available through many venues, including Cedar Meadows, and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Timmins.
