Country Charm at Piebird Bed and Breakfast

The history of Piebird’s main guesthouse goes back over 100 years. With its original Victorian-era architecture, character, and charm, a visit to Piebird is almost like travelling back in time. Their linens are washed using rainwater and dried on a line, the main guesthouse has an oak-rimmed bathtub to soak in, and their ingredients for their home-cooked vegan fare are grown right on the property.

Guests can stay in one of the historic rooms in the main guesthouse or in the newly-opened Birdhouse Cottage. The Cottage is nestled on the edge of a pine forest on the banks of Beatty Creek right next to Piebird’s resident comedians - the goats. The Cottage has a full kitchen, woodstove, and bathroom complete with shower and clawfoot tub. You can choose to prepare your own meals or be served dinner next door at the main guesthouse.

Enjoy your stay by relaxing in their unique sauna, canoeing on a tranquil creek, cycling along quiet country roads, or explore everything that this farmstay has to offer, including their animal friends.

One thing you can always count on at Piebird is that you’ll be greeted with warm smiles, beautiful surroundings, and true Northeastern Ontario hospitality!
