A Historic St.Marys to Tillsonburg Ride
Where to Start
Begin your trip in the historical town of St. Marys at the Stonewillow Inn, where you can easily leave your trailer overnight. For those who have not already gassed up, there is a station on the other side of town, follow signs for trail 223.
Day One
To begin your trip jump on the trail and head south east at intersection 224. From there head south and follow along to 225 for a beautiful scenic ride. Making your way through the District 5 trails, keep falling east/southeast until you decide you are hungry for lunch, around Norwich. To get into town for lunch and some gas, you will have to head north. After your lunch break you will head back the way you came and at intersection 250 you need to head east to travel a nice loop down to intersection 264. There is gas available in the town of Lasslette, if you need or just feel like stretching your legs. From here you will head southwest from this intersection and follow the trail into Tillsonburg. There is a Super 8 Motel that is snowmobile friendly, with near by amenities for your overnight stay.
Day Two
In the morning of Day 2 you will be leaving Tillsonburg on a full stomach and heading to intersection 252 where you will turn to the northeast to intersection 246 near Milldale. From here continue traveling up club trails north east through towns like Bishopgate and Burford. Eventually making your way up to 289. From here you will find a place to eat a bite of lunch or get a quick fill up. After being refueled, in both senses, carry on southwest to intersection 297 where you will again begin traveling northeast. Slowly making your way back up towards St. Marys on well marked, groomed trails head towards intersection 341. Eventually coming to trail 214 you will southwest and end up back at the Stonewillow Inn where you will find your trailer and lots of good memories waiting to be discussed on the drive home.
