Closest sledding to the GTA

The Southern Ontario Trail district offers the closest sledding to the GTA, OFSC District 4. We are 30 minutes north of the 401, just north of Newmarket and Brampton. With just under 900 km of trails in our district, trails that run over fields, through forests and climbing the Niagara escarpment we have everything that you may want for your day or weekend of snowmobiling. Trails don't just happen, there is a lot of work to be done at the start of each season.
District 4 encompasses an area starting in the east bordering on the Heart of Ontario clubs just east of Highway 48. The northern boundary runs along the south shore of Lake Simcoe, across Cook's Bay to Big Bay Point and along Highway 90 through Glencairn to Dundalk.
Our western limit runs from Dundalk south by Grand Valley to Belwood and Erin. To the south we run along the top of the GTA.
