March Break Adventure 2011
Join us in March for fun filled weekend in Sudbury!
Go Wild on Saturday at Science North
Leave after breakfast and arrive in Sudbury in time for lunch at Elements' Science North's new onsite restaurant. Have a hearty lunch to ensure you have enough energy to visit all of the new exhibits at Science North... particulary the newly renovated 3rd floor!.

Science North's third floor will bring you to the heart of Northern Ontario's ecosystems, with the most dramatic changes to the science centre taking place here. The new experiences on this floor will help you to understand what's in the air, water and earth around us. What does it feel like to be a moose with a rack of antlers? Get up close to a beehive and observe the bees' many behaviours and their role as pollinators. Help evaluate the health of Ramsey Lake and explore what lives in it. Crawl through a wetland tunnel, but watch out for the cattail roots and the muskrat lodge! And don't miss the new special exhibition Wildlife Rescue, it will immerse you in compelling stories of animal rescue from around the world.
After a busy afternoon, check-in to one of Sudbury's great local hotel to refresh and then have a relaxing dinner at a delicious local restaurant.
On Sunday - Ride with Meteorites in the morning and with team of Dogs in the afternoon
In the morning visit Dynamic Earth and take off on a quest to discover celestial bodies on a potential collision course with Earth, along with astronaut Téo and his dog Laïka. In the course of your galactic trek you will discover what meteorites can tell us about planet formations, visit the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter, relive some famous meteoric falls, closely observe lunar and Martian meteorites as well as others from our solar system, all among the rarest in the world, and so much more.

In the afternoon, get behind a strong team of Siberian huskies and experience a winter wonderland at Mushers Dog Sled Tours. Mushers offer a variety of packages and experiences whether you have an hour or a full day.
