Sioux Lookout Turns 100 in 2012

Venture to Sioux Lookout this year to help celebrate 100 Years of existence!  To recognize this occasion, Sioux Lookout is inviting all residents and visitors to come celebrate with them. The Centennial Committee, local groups and organizations have been hard at work to make this year's events some of the most memorable.

Sioux Lookout is located north of the TransCanada Highway, among beautiful lakes and the rugged Canadian Shield. With spectacular trails, lakes and beaches, visitors can take advantage of a wide variety of outdoor recreational and sporting opportunities. visit the Centennial website for regular updates on all upcoming events, some which include the Canada Day Concert; the 30th Annual Blueberry Festival (selected as one of the Top 5 Festivals in Ontario by Festivals and Events Ontario in 2011), and the Walleye Weekend Fishing Tournament.
