An Amazing Fly Fishing Trip with The New Fly Fisher in Algoma Country.

Fly Fishers looking for the ultimate destination, Algoma Country has it all! From huge smallmouth bass to aggressive northern pike, trophy fish abound in this part of Ontario.

The Winner

The winner of the 2017 Algoma That Real Fly Fishing Contest is Mary McCrum. Mary from Ontario! Accompanied by her husband Peter, Mari has chosen to fly-in to Esnagami Wilderness Lodge this summer. Congratulations Mari! We know you'll have an amazing adventure! 

The Contest

The lucky winner and their guest will spend 5 amazing days fly fishing at one of the participating lodges of their choice. To make the fly fishing trip even better, you'll become a television star! The lucky winner will choose either Bill Spicer or Colin McKeown from The New Fly Fisher Television Show to guide them on their trip AND their dream fishing trip will be recorded for broadcast on a future episode. The winner will also receive an additional bonus prize of $1,000 worth of fly fishing equipment and accessories!

Colin McKeown is the host and producer of The New Fly Fisher Show. He has a strong love of Northern Ontario, particularly Algoma Country because of its great fishing and wilderness -- he loves catching smallmouth bass, brook trout and northern pike on a fly!

The primary host of The New Fly Fisher Show, Bill Spicer is a master educator and instructor. He loves fly fishing in Algoma because of the wide variety of fishing opportunities in the region, as well as teaching people dry fly and nymphing techniques -- he enjoys taking people out on the water for a day of instruction and fun!
