Aching to get out on your next motorcycle adventure? Each of these shots was taken on one of Ontario's famed motorcycle routes or roads. Get out there this summer and enjoy!

Ontario, yours to discover. The now famous slogan is all-encompassingno matter your means of exploration, you will be satisfied. As a motorcyclist, I would like to believe that the catch phrase was specifically meant for us. How can it not? With tens of thousands of kilometres of paved roads and probably double that in gravel, discovering Ontario by motorcycle can take a lifetime. If that potential alone is not enough to get the “let's ride” juices flowing, here are a dozen Ontario moto photos to stoke the fire.

The Ontario Highlands, where the views are as good as the ride.


 Looking for some twisties? No need to look far, Muskoka is loaded with them.
 Ontario’s take on the tail of the dragon, Algoma's Highway 129. This tail twists and turns for 200 km.
 The Almaguin Highlands, what this area lacks in paved roads it more than makes up in ADV bike potential.

With 250,000 lakes in Ontario, lakeside misty mornings are fortunately a dime a dozen. 
The Bruce Peninsula, crisscrossed with gravel and paved roadshere it’s easy to find some water’s edge solitude.
The La Cloche Mountainsfresh pavement and blue skies, Highway 6 north from Manitoulin Island is an Ontario gem.
 An early morning cruise through Algonquin park is an experience in nature’s splendour.
 South of Ottawa, you will find a cluster of awesome roads that will have you smiling all day.
