Many riders have tackled Ontario’s Bucket List ride. At 1,450 miles over a suggested eight-day trip, this is a serious motorcycle route. But that doesn’t mean that beginners can’t take it on—it just means that you need to be prepared, have a plan for the things you’ll see and do, and places you’ll eat and sleep at the end of your (very satisfying) days.
That’s why we’ve crafted this beginner’s itinerary for Ride Lake Superior specifically for those new to motorcycle touring. This is for those who want to the best the route has to offer, while making good time and staying at the most unique places. You can start this route at any point on the loop, but for this itinerary we’re starting in Duluth, Minnesota. If you’re starting anywhere else, just pick up the route there, and follow all our recommendations below!
