COVID-19 is having a significant impact across the country. The restaurant industry is uniquely affected by the pandemic, as dine-in service closes across the country, and restaurants are mandated to focus only on delivery and takeout, but you can still do your part. A good number of local restaurants are still operating, just a little bit different then we are used to, you may have a hard time answering the age-old question – “What’s for dinner?”. With so many delicious options offering take-out and delivery, from coffee shop to craft beer to everything local, let’s show some support to our friends in the food & beverage industry. Here’s a list of those still in operations:

Retail & Services

Our local shops are slowly starting to transition from online and curbside pick-up to in-person browsing. Indulge yourself with a variety of shopping throughout the city and discover locally made items, handcrafted pottery, trendy clothing stores and so much more. North Bay’s shopping scene is like no other, normally you could take wander through our Downtown core and not only find that there is something unique for everyone, but you might also recognize a couple of shooting locations from the many Hallmark movies shot in North Bay. Some would even go as far as saying you are strolling the streets of Hollywood North. Now more than ever it is important to shop local and help keep these businesses flourishing by placing your order online, over the phone, or where possible visiting them personally while following all guidelines put in place.

While we can't attend big events in person, we can still experience concerts, classes, and more from the comfort of our homes. As events and experiences become available, we will update our list.
