Timmins Summer Concert Series
July and August

For the ninth year in a row, Tourism Timmins and partner in crime DJ Taz, are hosting the 2018 Timmins Summer Concert Series. Every Wednesday evening in July and August, join the duo at McIntyre Park, and every other Thursday at Bannerman Park from 6 pm to 9 pm. They’ll have music from all genres including; rock, country, blues, jazz, French pop, swing, symphony… and any other genre you can think of! Regardless, there will definitely be something to fit everyone’s taste in music.

The admission price, should you choose to participate, is a small act of charity where you have the option to make a cash donation, or bring non-perishable food items to support the Timmins and South Porcupine Food Banks, or both (or none of the above, but it’s for a good cause, so why not?).

Peter Schneider @ Bell Park
sunday nights through august 19

Let’s be honest, weekends are great—until you get to Sunday evening, you’re forced to start thinking about the upcoming work week, and you become a sad, mopey, couch potato. But guess what? Your Sunday evenings (from 7 pm to 8:15 pm) can become a little more upbeat (yes, pun intended) with the Peter Schneider Concert Series in the City of Greater Sudbury

For more than 16 years, this summer concert series has been bringing in musical groups from far and wide to perform for free (there’s that word again) at the multiple performance areas at Bell Park. All concerts will be held at either of the Bell Gazebo’s or at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. In the event of rain the party continues inside at St. Peter’s United Church (203 York Street, Sudbury). The Keyframes kicked off the series on June 3 with their indie vibes.

For the rest of the concert series lineup click here, and your Sunday scaries will turn into Sunday Fundays in no time!
