Always a favourite among kids and adults alike is the wide array of wildlife you can get up close and personal with. And to walk among close to 400 free-flying tropical butterflies and hundreds of beautiful exotic plants in the stunning F. Jean MacLeod Butterfly Gallery is an experience you won’t soon forget.

Dynamic Earth & the Big Nickel

Dynamic Earth is another great stop for families to learn about Northern Ontario’s geological history and mining heritage – and it’s about to get even better!

Dynamic Earth's Outdoor Science Park features large-scale exhibits and interactive, science-themed structures for kids to explore and play on, including a real load haul dump truck and limestone cave.

Of course, Dynamic Earth is also home to the Big Nickel, the perfect spot for a family photo-op to commemorate your trip!

ARC Climbing

For those looking for an exciting activity to burn off some energy, ARC Climbing is a must-see. Their indoor facility features 7000 square feet of rock climbing, including 35-foot-high climbing walls for all levels of climbers. Even if you’ve never tried rock climbing before, you can drop in to climb and get a full tour of the facilities and get set up to try it out!

Bell Park

Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Ramsey, Bell Park is one of the many places in Sudbury where you can go for some fresh air! Some of the park’s features include a beach, a children’s play area, two gazebos, and the Ramsey Lake Boardwalk is a great place to walk along the water.
