Trip Rendezvous: The Lodge at Pine Cove 

Join French River Adventures for a unique opportunity to experience French River cultural heritage through the eyes of nature interpreter Norm Dokis and the Dokis First Nation Pow Wow.

Stroke, stroke, stroke. For about 2 ½ hours, you’ll be part of an 18-member team paddling a 36-foot Montreal canoe along the historic Voyageur route on the French River.  

Pow-Wow-and-Picnic2Along the way, Norm will point out ancient pictographs and will share his knowledge of land and river he loves so much.  After a delicious gourmet picnic lunch, he will escort you to the Dokis First Nation Pow Wow to be entertained by dancers from all over the region.
