Quality Inn, New Liskeard

One of Northeasten Ontario’s most popular snowmobiling hotels is the Quality Inn, in what used to be New Liskeard, now Temiskaming Shores. Located directly on Highway 11 in OFSCDistrict 14, this large, one-story motel lay out allows sled parking in front of every room, with ample truck and trailer parking in several areas. Add in the on site restaurant, indoor pool and hot tub and you’ve got a recipe for a great stay over!

Best of all, the Quality Inn in located on OFSC TOP Trail A107Q and is the gateway for day trips north to Kirkland Lake or west to Gowganda and back on Ontario snowmobile trails. There’s even a pile of under-used local snowmobile trails to try on for size! But most riders use the Quality Inn as the launch point for their ride to Cochrane and the Northern Corridor or to Timmins and points beyond.

Local snowmbiler Sean Mackey runs not only the Quality Inn, but also the new Holiday Inn Express next door, the Econo Lodge across the street and the Waterfront Inn on Lake Temiskaming. So if one place is full, there’s always room at one of his inns to take advantage of great snowmobile conditions!
