The race has been around for over 40 years and is considered one of the most challenging road races in Northwest Ontario, with runners out to conquer the 11.2-km course. The start/finish line is outside the Red Rock Recreation Centre and leads walkers and runners up, up, up 715 ft to the top of Paju Mountain.

The Paju Mountain Run boasts one of Northwest Ontario’s most unique and challenging road races. The non-competitive event begins at 8:30 am (these participants are not timed), and the race is at 9 am.

Runners have the option of running timed or not.

The Thunder Bay Metre Eaters time clock will provide participants with accurate race times. Runners will have the opportunity to use the Recreation Centre showers to cool down and clean up after their rewarding accomplishment of completing the course. An awards ceremony and luncheon begins at noon at the Royal Canadian Legion, 41 Salls Street in Red Rock.
