10. Museums - Your family will see quirky never-seen-before artifacts, discover a place where adventure takes off, or will step back in time to when cell phones, video games and iPads didn't exist.

9. A Day at Beach - You'll want to spend more than just a day at our beaches. We've got some of the prettiest, secluded, white sandiest beaches you'll ever visit in Northern Ontario.

8. Provincial Parks - Algoma Country is home to a dozen provincial parks that offer the very best in hiking, swimming, waterfalls, fishing and camping. From rare geological finds to panoramic mountaintop views and cultural sites like the Agawa Rock Pictographs.

7. Wildlife Viewing - You just never know who you will see in Algoma Country! It's true that our beautiful landscape is made up of vast wilderness and we're also home to the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve, the largest in the world, and a great place to hike, bird watch, and photograph the wildlife and flora & fauna.

5. Parks Canada Heritage Sites - We're very lucky because we are home to 3 amazing Parks Canada Sites: Fort St. Joseph, Sault Ste. Marie Canal and Pukaskwa National Park.

3. Winnie-the-Pooh Statue - Every child knows the story of Winnie-the-Pooh but do you know Winnie's real story? It all started in White River, Ontario. Visit Winnie's Park, the museum and have your photo taken in front of his statue.

2. Wawa Goose Monument - one of the most photographed icons in Canada needs its own spot on the list. Located on Trans Canada Hwy 17 -- this is a MUST-DO for everyone!
