Where can you see bald eagles this close?

Guaranteed to produce excellent photo opportunities.

Wilderness, wildlife and wonder are the order of the day on this Nipigon River Adventure. The fall salmon run on the Nipigon River attracts a large number of North American Bald Eagles from late September to early November.

Arrive on Sunday to The Lodge, a comfortable and unique large log “cabin” with spectacular views of Lake Superior and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Each day, from Monday to Friday, you will be guided to a blind that is guaranteed to produce many excellent, up close and personal photographic opportunities of bald eagles as they feed and interact. Return to The Lodge for a delicious dinner and discussion about the day.

After breakfast on Saturday, you will be transported to Thunder Bay.

Group sizes are kept small (maximum six) in order to create the best wilderness experience possible.

Package includes:

  •      Ground transportation from and to Thunder Bay
  •      Six nights' accommodation at the Lodge
  •      Dinner upon arrival on Sunday
  •      Breakfast, box lunch and dinner (Monday to Friday)
  •      Breakfast on departure day (Saturday)
  •      Guided transportation and set up in your blind location
  •      Guest Speaker – Greg Stroud of Parks Canada
