2016 CanAm Presidents Cup Poker Run

High performance, high horsepower powerboats battle it out in a game of chance for the 2016 CanAm Presidents Cup Poker Run.

This August the Sault Ste. Marie waterfront will be rumbling with over 20 high performance, high horsepower powerboats while they battle it out in a game of chance for the 2016 CanAm Presidents Cup Poker Run. This amazing three-day event will allow you to get up close and personal with these high-power V-bottom and catamaran race boats from across Canada and the United States.



On Friday August 5 - Guests will have the opportunity to see these high performance boats up close and to meet the owners and crew at our kick off event!
On Saturday August 6 - On Poker Run day , spectators are welcome to line up alone the shoreline to see the powerboats in action! Hear the thunder and feel the rumble as they begin their run east and back again.
On Sunday August 7 - Guests will be able to participate in a Ride of a Lifetime! Take a spin on one of these high performance boats down the St. Mary's River. *Minimum donation amount required, all proceeds will go to supporting local charity.

Friday August 5 - Drivers Welcome Event at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion.

Enjoy live entertainment, meet the drivers and see the boats on display. 5 pm-10:30 pm

Saturday August 6 - Poker Run Day!
Opening remarks begin at 9:30 am in the Roberta Bondar Marina, Parade of Power 10 am along the waterfront and "Start your Engines" group start at 10:30 am.

Richards Landing, St. Joseph Island 11:15 am
Hilton Beach, St. Joseph Island 11:45 am
Thessalon, 2 pm
Drummond Island 2:45 pm
Return to Sault Ste. Marie 4:30 pm

Sunday August 7 - Charity Ride of A Lifetime Event
All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie

Individual ride tickets available online
