Based on Lake Superior in Northern Ontario Mike and Colleen Petzold have been operating Caribou Expeditions since 1994. As avid paddlers who have lived in the area for over two decades, they provide sea kayak and canoe tours, white-water river trips, including wilderness overnight camping, lodge-to-lodge kayaking, kayak instruction, and outfitting.
Mike, founder of Caribou Expeditions, has been guiding for over a decade. He has received four-star certification from the British Canoe Union, as well as Instructor Certification from paddling Canada.

Colleen has guided trips along Lake Superior and the St. Lawrence for the past 12 years. She holds a Four Star British Canoe Union certification.
Additionally, they have experienced outdoors people with decades of paddling experience, and are advanced paddlers with high levels of certification from the BCU and/or Paddling Canada.

Conor Mihell brings Greenland-style paddling to the North Shore of Superior. He is trained as a sea kayak guide and instructor under AECSKO and CRCA.
Bruce Lash is a senior instructor with the British Canoe Union. Bruce has been paddling and instructing for over two decades, and was former owner of Lake Superior Kayak Adventures.

Sea Kayak Day Trips
