A quick look at each of the OFSC's 35 pre-planned, mapped, and signed OFSC Snow Tours.



At over 30,000 km (18,641 miles) of interconnected trails, Ontario offers one of the longest networks of recreational snowmobile trails in the world. With 16 districts and a massive interactive map to browse, planning a snowmobile outing in Ontario can seem a daunting task. The fact is, it does not get any easier—with 35 pre-planned, mapped and signed tours, courtesy of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs, at your disposal, it’s as simple as pick, pack, and go. Whether you're after the wilds of Northwest Ontario, the snowpack of Algoma, the never-ending season in Northeastern Ontario, the winding forest trails of the central or east regions, or the open spaces of the south, there is a tour to fulfil every desire, be it for a day or many.

NORTHWEST ONTARIO

GATEWAY TO ONTARIO TOUR - OFSC DISTRICT 17 - 130 km

The Town of Kenora and two provinces in one tour as you experience the best of both the Ontario and Manitoba trail systems.

NWOSTA WILDERNESS LOOP - OFSC DISTRICT 17 - 906 km

With access points near both the U.S. and Manitoba borders and many snowmobile-friendly communities along the way, this is the ultimate Northwest Ontario sledding adventure featuring the majestic Canadian Shield wilderness.

WHITE OTTER LOOP - OFSC DISTRICT 17 - 203 km

Visit the Northwest Ontario’s famous White Otter Castle, built by woodsman Jimmy McQuat in 1915 which is not accessible by road as you follow TOP A and local trails.

ALGOMA COUNTRY 

Algoma’s snowpack is measured in metres not centimetres thanks to the Lake Superior snowmaking machine.

BOBCAT LOOP - OFSC DISTRICT 15 - 90 km

An option to get off the main TOP Trail and explore local trails in the Hornepayne area of the Northern Corridor Adventure.

RAP (ROUND ALGONQUIN PARK) TOUR - OFSC DISTRICT 6, 7, and 11 - 708 km

The only time you can traverse Algonquin Provincial Park on a motor powered machine is by snowmobile in the winter.

RIDEAU ST. LAWRENCE RUN - OFSC DISTRICT 1- 240 km

Located on the eastern side of the Upper Canada Snowmobile Region just north of Brockville. Connecting the towns of Smiths Falls, Athens, Prescott and North Gower along a mix of trails through woodlots, open fields, pipeline corridors and abandoned rail lines.

Staging out of Morrisburg, the tour includes the towns of Osgoode, Metcalfe, Moose Creek and Monkland as well as the well-known Larose Forest.
