Open Air Skate
Lace up your skates and head on over to Ramsey Lake or Queen’s Athletic Field for free outdoor public skating! Ramsey Lake Skate path is approximately 1.5 km long. You will find an oval skate path at Queen’s Athletic Field which is open all day long.

Winter Sleigh Ride
Climb aboard our horse drawn sleigh and enjoy a tour through our scenic wintery trials of the Boreal forest. Arrive at our bonfire stop in the woods and be treated to a French-canadian tradition – “tire d’erable” also known as “maple taffy”.

Hit the trails
Take advantage of all the snow and hit the trails on your snowmobile. Travel through one of Ontario's old growth forests, on the Chiniguchi Loop, wildlife sightings abound on the Cartier Moose Loop or ride through Killarney Park and along the La Cloche Mountain range on the Rainbow Elk Loop.

Make tracks
Put on your winter boots, strap on some snowshoes, or hook into your skis and make your way through a shimmering winter landscape. Sudbury's Lake Laurentian Conservation Area offers 55km of hiking and cross-country skiing trails. Ski and snowshoe rentals are available from the Laurentian University Outdoor Centre.  Also try: Bio Ski Cross-Country Ski & Snowshoe Club, Capreol Cross Country Ski Club, Walden Cross Country Ski Club.
