What You Need To Know to Get Riding

Safely discover Ontario when the time is right. For the most up-to-date information on where and when it is safe to travel please visit: covid-19.ontario.ca.

Do your part by following public health advice. It is important to wear a face mask or covering, practice physical distancing, and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Ontario offers the ATV enthusiast some of the best trails and riding experiences in the world. The Canadian Shield boasts plenty of challenging terrain, and some amazing scenery that will leave any rider with unforgettable memories.

Choosing your destination from thousands of lodgesparks, and tours can be half the fun. For the novice riders there are guided toursATV rentals, a provincial volunteer ATV club Federation OFATV, and an impressive list of ATV destinations, like ATV Ontario, ready to provide any type of riding. These groups maintain, mark, map-out trail networks and promote countless trail riding events each year.

To ride these trails, you need to acquire a membership from the OFATV, or a PowerPass from ATVOntario, depending on where you will be riding.

Often you can find amazing rides right from your accommodations or staging area, most times without any additional trailering.

Ride responsibly, and be sure to use travel tips and tools before you next trip. Have fun on the trails!
